Section 1: The Association will study and discuss issues that are relevant to the activities and responsibilities of recreation and park professionals.
Section 2: The Association will provide opportunities for professional development and training including offering Certification Education Unit (CEU)
programs.
Section 3: The Association will promote the benefits of recreation and park programs and services.
Section 4: The Association will foster inter-agency cooperation and mutual
assistance for its membership.
Section 5: The Association will support the efforts of college and high school students to gain practical experience and involvement in the recreation and
park profession including participation in mentoring opportunities.
Section 6: The Association will support the mission and strategic plan of the Michigan Recreation and Park Association (MRPA) as well as provide
regional representation to MRPA.
Section 7: The Association will support MRPA and regional recreation and park legislative advocacy efforts.
